Select the local Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) dealer who will take your gun and finalize your transfer. Fees may vary, so please contact your FFL Dealer in advance to get a quote for fees associated with the transfer of your firearm. It can take an extra day or so for the FFL Dealer to be ready to handle your firearm transfer. There are duties that an FFL Dealer is required to perform at the time of transfer, including criminal and mental health background checks via the NICS.
