Windham Weaponry Ar-15 7.62X39 Semi Auto Rifle 16″ Barrel 30 Rounds Mil-Spec Furniture Fixed Front Sight Matte Black

Windham Weaponrys AR-15 is a traditional AR-15, featuring an iron-forged receiver, Mil-Spec furniture, and an M4 Profile barrel. The visual clue that an ARAK-21 XRS is no normal AR-15 is the distinctive curve in the 30-round magazines on the rifle. It looks just like the magazine on the AK, which both the ARAK-21 XRS and its variant are designed to handle the 7.62x39mm round. Specifically (and in contrast with earlier rifles, as well as the US M16), the Sturmgewehr 44 has a flat buttstock, and the barrel is located below the gas block, in order to decrease the turning moment of recoil in the shoulder, thus helping reduce the tendency for shots to rise during autofire.

The barrel and total length were shorter than traditional rifles, and had a pistol grip for a safer hold on the weapon during automatic fire. After a few changes, Colt introduced the M16, which was selected fire (automatic) and primarily had the barrel of a.20 caliber.

Both the AK-47 and the M16 were select-fire weapons, able to shoot in semi-automatic and full-auto, or in semi-auto and three-round bursts for the later model M16. The semi-auto and 3-round-burst capabilities of the M16A2 and M4 models are of lesser operational capacity compared to the previous models, or the AK-47-type rifles. The standard magazine capacity of the AR-15/M16 series rifles is 30 rounds, though lower-capacity and higher-capacity magazines are available for both systems.

The civilian AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle, as opposed to the auto/select-fire capabilities of military versions. The early rifles were more heavily foregripped, had carry handles, a handguard that was not floating, the carbines gas system, and front sight bases. The rifle comes with an adjustable front and rear flip-up sights, a Quad Rail, complete upper rail, and a front rail over the barrel.

The 16.1-inch, free-floating barrel has a 1-in-10-inch twist, and the whole system runs on a carbine-length direct-impingement gas system. While the militarys M4 Carbine has a 14.5-inch barrel with a carbine-length gas system, most AR-15s in this variant will run the 16-inch barrel with a hybrid of carbine-length and intermediate-length gas systems. The rifle-length gas system is traditionally used for 18-gauge or longer barrels, but there is an oddball model, the dispersionator, that has the rifle-length system on the 16-gauge.

Based on.308 pump platforms, features include a double-chamber muzzle brake, a 16 stainless barrel, a TRX2 handguard with a full-length upper rail, 10-round detachable magazine, and a lightweight, configurable BattleAx CQB stock. The 10mm rifle on display was a production-level firearm (TNW Guns is shipping it right now) featuring OD Green finishes on the receiver, integral optic rail, a six-position adjustable upper and a compact, American-made AR-style (A*B) style grip. This Thompson.45 ACP version, the T150D, will come with a 50-round drum magazine, as well as one 30-round fixed-profile magazine well, all polished to match the rifle.

The CZ P-01 O(Omega) semi-auto 9mm polymer chassis (tan) will come in a suppressor-ready variant, featuring threaded barrel, high-mounted iron sights, and interchangeable safety. ISSC M211002 MK22 Semi-Auto 22LR 16 10+1 Folding Adj. Stock Black $513.88 The MK22 from the Modern Sporting Rifle series from ISSC comes in black or desert tan and comes in 10 rounds or 22 rounds. Beretta ARX160 ArX160 Rifle Semi-Auto 22 Long Rifle 18 20+1 Folding Stock Black $528.88 The Beretta ARX160 in 22LR is a faithful replication of the battle-tested ARX160 that served in the Italian military. GSG G2224AK47R AK-47 Rebel 16.5 Semi-Auto 22LR 24+1 Folding Stk Blk $407.88 The 22LR Kalashnikov manufactured by GSG represents far more than just a smaller-caliber copy of the famed rifle.

This rifle-action, 5.5-barrel handgun accepts Glock G17 magazines, and comes with a low-profile folding optic and single-point slide-mounted accessory loop over the grip. This rifle-action pistol features a 12-inch barrel, era-correct bell-shaped flash hider, a 15-round magazine, and GI-style sling. This rifle blends the control and reliability of the military-style design, but it also presents shooters with all of the elements of a modern sport rifle platform. Weight, balance, appearance, feel, and much of the controls positioning and operations are identical to 5.56mm x 45 NATO rifles.

Carbine simply means that the M4 has a shorter barrel compared to the rifle version, and it can either be read as car-BEAN or car-BYNE, but I prefer the car-BEAN version. Traditionally, barrels shorter than 16 are known as a short barreled rifle (SBR), requiring a document and a tax stamp.

These uppers include a fast-release system which allows the barrel and bolt to be swapped out easily, allowing the same rifle to shoot either 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem, 300 BLK, or 7.62x39mm. The hand-forged uppers and lower receivers are all mil-spec, as is the reinforced bolt, which is designed to work with 7.62x39mm and is made from Carpenter 158 steel in accordance with US Mil-spec requirements. The A-style magazines are Sig556-compatible, but retain Swiss folding stocks, which allows the rifle to be extended from 35.9 inches long to 26 inches long when folded.

The long rifle barrel has the benefit of having a larger sights radius, theoretically allowing a shooter to achieve higher degrees of precision based on improved precision of sights alone. Also, one can participate in handgun events as ammunition does not annihilate a target as quickly as fast rifle rounds. If you choose to go that route, you can get great selection in furniture and rails (and be able to pick up sub $500 rifles).

I am a southpaw and certain things with AR rifles just are not always built for us lefties so I decided to make a lefty gun that is purpose built (as much as possible) for lefties, one thing I have never really liked about AR rifles especially with optics is the upper rear charging handle and then the DIGS digs
