BCM also offers a sling swivel.
The stock configuration is the standard M4 stock, which weighs just over one ounce more than the BCM gunfighter stock. The stock is a workhorse and is not a match gun, but it is very comfortable. The recoil pad is non-slip rubber buttpad, and the stock has an easy-to-manipulate locking lever. With a stronger locking system and a range of nicer ammunition, the recce16 is worth a thumbs up from BCM.
BCMs Recce-16 comes with a BCM PNT trigger, a PNT hammer, an M-LOK handguard, and an accessory rail on the stock that runs all the way to the muzzle. The exterior of the barrel is manganese phosphate coated, and it has a nickel coating for corrosion resistance. The front sight base is embedded in order to get the maximum benefit from the low friction BCM MCR15 15-round magazine. The BCM MCMR15 15 is one of the best AR-15s on the market. It comes with an MLOK rail, BCM Compensator, and PNT.
BCM rear takedown pins, front pivot pins and vehicle borne operations sling tab are all made from AIS8620 bar stock. The processes and tolerances used to manufacture the parts, and the assembly of the weapons, are the sum of what makes BCM. The USGI TDP and BCM Gunfighter stock are interchangeable, so you can swap between the M4 family and the M16. You can also use an elastic band.
Bravo Companys BCMgunfighter grip, which weighs 1 pound 6 ounces, is an absolute pleasure. Bravo Company also offers optics and other accessories for the AR-15 including flash suppressors. The right rail on the simple handguard allows you to keep your fingers off the barrel. The BCMGUNFIGHTER Compensator adds a bit of control to the barrel, but not in a good way. The angle of the BCMs Mod 0 compensator and the full-length gas system make the barrel a little louder than other AR-15s, but it is still quiet enough for home defense or target shooting. The barrel is threaded for a.223 Remington or 5.56mm NATO, and can be used with a suppressor.
